Overview

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join an award winning online retailer based in Stoke on Trent. Imagine leading a dedicated team in a fast-paced warehouse, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service. Salary: £30,320 per annum

Role

As Warehouse Supervisor you will manage a team of 7 operatives across pick, pack, dispatch, and goods-in functions, utilising handheld scanners. The role involves working a three-shift rota:

  • Week 1: 8.30am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Week 2: 10am-7pm, Monday to Friday
  • Week 3: 8.30am-5.30pm, Monday to Friday + 9am-5pm, Saturday
Key Responsibilities
  • Team Supervision: Lead and motivate the warehouse team, ensuring high performance and morale.
  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee key warehouse functions, from goods received to dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety compliance.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensure adequate resources are allocated to meet business needs, including goods-in, goods-out, and systems.
  • Quality Control: Check deliveries against delivery notes, report discrepancies, and ensure standards of driver safety and equipment functionality.
  • Customer Service: Collaborate with the Customer Service team to address queries and facilitate customer collections.
  • Security and Safety: Adhere to agreed security measures and maintain high standards of health and safety.
