Warehouse Supervisor
Newark (Outskirts), Full Time, Permanent
Circa £30,000 plus Benefits

Our long established, market leading Client based on the outskirts of Newark is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting volume targets within set time limits, aiming to exceed performance expectations and enhance the business's objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing new staff selection and introduce training programs to enhance team skills and performance.
  • Improve and adjust processes to optimise performance of departmental activities, quality and customer service.
  • Collaborate with other teams to facilitate project success and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Help implement departmental practices, performance standards, and staffing levels with management input.
  • Contribute to strategic plans and reviews to meet operational standards.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge & experience of working within an engineering, manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • IT literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office package with the ability to input, retrieve and analyse data.
  • Forklift licence & experience would be advantageous.
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations.
  • Experience in a mechanical environment.
