Warehouse Supervisor

Summary

Oversee the efficient movement, storage, and documentation of goods within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards. Act as a key link between import/export and distribution teams to maintain smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage documentation, records, and product labelling.
• Supervise goods-in processes, pallet labelling, storage, and reporting of damages.
• Resolve shipment issues, including delays, damages, or customs/DEFRA challenges.
• Ensure timely loading/unloading of drivers with correct paperwork.
• Delegate tasks and oversee warehouse staff on shift.
• Maintain health, safety, security, and cleanliness in the warehouse.
• Support food safety policies and procedures.

Experience & Qualifications

• Forklift license.
• Previous experience as a warehouse lead/supervisor.
• Knowledge of perishable goods/food handling preferred.
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• Security training/screening a plus.
