Warehouse Supervisor - Forklift (Counterbalance / Bendi)

📍 Location: High Wycombe

💷 Pay Rate: £14.41 per hour

🕗 Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

📅 Contract: 12-week Temp to Perm

About the Role

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join a well-established industrial distribution business specialising in cable and electrical products. This is a hands‑on supervisory role, leading a warehouse team while also remaining operational on the floor. Excellent long‑term prospects are available following a successful 12‑week temporary period.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support daily warehouse operations
• Lead and motivate a small team of warehouse operatives
• Ensure picking, packing, and dispatch targets are met
• Operate Counterbalance forklifts (essential) and Bendi / Narrow Aisle (preferred)
• Maintain stock accuracy and warehouse organisation
• Enforce health & safety procedures and housekeeping standards
• Support training and onboarding of new staff

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
• Bendi / Narrow Aisle forklift certificate (highly desirable)
• Previous warehouse supervisory or team leader experience
• Physically fit and comfortable in a hands‑on role
• Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and proactive
