- Operates gas or electric powered forklift truck to move, stack, load or unload materials, parts, finished goods, etc. May load/unload trucks and use a Hi‑Rise to load items in storage racks.
- Works under limited supervision for routine situations.
- Provides assistance and training to lower‑level employees.
- Handles non‑routine problems requiring analysis and judgment.
- Supports warehouse supervision team to deliver key objectives of production, third‑party and export picking, receiving activities, put‑away activities, cycle counting, physical inventory checking and good storage practices.
- Deputises for Warehouse Team Leader.
- Possesses working knowledge of goods receiving procedures and practices.
- Exhibits good communication skills, both oral and written, to ensure desired outcomes are understood and achieved; shares knowledge and information with others.
- Adheres to healthy and safe working practices to maintain the welfare of self and colleagues.
- Fully conversant in necessary SAP transactions and basic warehouse administration functions.
- Ensures inventory record accuracy with a high degree of precision.
- Certified in the operation of various forms of motorised forklift trucks.
- Knowledgeable in best warehouse practices, GMP, and environmental health and safety standards, and willing to uphold these standards both within the warehouse and across the site.
- Works effectively in a team and with cross‑functional departments (Production/Market services, Purchasing, and Customer Service units) to achieve business objectives.
- Develops strong working relationships with key internal and external customers, striving for excellence and full accountability in customer service.
- Adapts to the fast pace of changing circumstances and demands within the working environment.
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability.

Qualifications/Education
- NVQ Level 2 with additional units
- Relevant forklift licence(s)
