Job description

We're recruiting for a Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer to join our well-established client based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a full time, temporary and Ad Hoc basis.

Salary: £12.21 per hour

Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday (flexibility required for occasional 07:00 start).

Duration: Until the end of October with possible extension / permanent opportunity.

The Role:

As a Warehouse Operative / Picker Packer, you will be responsible for unloading containers by hand, checking delivery PO numbers and storing goods in correct location of the warehouse. There will also be requirements to pick and pack goods ready for despatch.

Essential Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is required.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, perform manual handling and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain stock levels and checking deliveries.
  • Good communication skills to liaise with colleagues and potentially report issues.
  • Organisational skills to keep the warehouse and stock organised systematically.
  • Ability to read documents, record keeping, and perform basic stock counts.
