Overview

Warehouse Operative – Chilled Environment

Location: Haydock, WA11 9SG

Pay: £15.09 per hour (Night shift)

Hours: Monday to Friday – 22:00–06:00

Start Date: Immediate

Contract: Temporary, ongoing

Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test, plus a DBS check is essential.

What you’ll be doing

• Working in a chilled environment to pick and prepare products for dispatch
• Reviewing order requirements and using hand scanners to pick stock
• Operating manual handling equipment (pallet trucks and trolleys)
• Loading vehicles ready for delivery
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
• Working with your team to achieve daily targets

What we’re looking for

• Previous warehouse or distribution experience (preferred)
• Positive, can-do attitude
• PPT experience (desirable but not essential)
• Comfortable working in chilled areas
• Awareness of Health & Safety standards
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
• Literacy, numeracy, and teamwork skills
