Warehouse Operative (FLT Driver)

Pertemps are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our client’s busy Stores team within a leading UK supplier and manufacturer. As part of a fast-paced warehouse environment, you will play a key role in ensuring products are picked, packed, and dispatched quickly and efficiently to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Unpack, receive, and safely store goods.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and on time to ensure safe delivery to customers.
• Keep work areas clean, tidy, and safe.
• Remain flexible to support the wider needs of the department and business.
• Follow Health & Safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.
• Identify and communicate training needs.

Skills and Qualifications

• Counterbalance and Reach truck license
• Full UK driving license – Due to location
• Experience in a similar role
• Ability to lift and move heavy items
• Team player

Details

• Hourly rate: £12.25ph
• Location: Cheshire, Woore
• Hours: Office between 08:00 – 18:00; workshop hours typically 08:00 – 16:30
• Flexibility: Option to work contracted hours over 4 days (subject to workload)
• Holiday: 30 days including statutory, rising to 33 after 1 year
• Bonus: Annual business performance bonus (non-contractual)
