Job Overview
- FLT Reach Truck Driver responsibilities include put away and replenishment of palletised stock, order picking, goods-in, loading, and replenishment within ambient and temperature-controlled chambers. You will contribute to maintaining optimal warehouse performance and ensuring our supply chain remains robust and effective, in our distribution centre at Omega Business Park off Junction 8 of the M62.
- You will collaborate with teams across the site to support both automated and manual systems, assisting in meeting fulfilment targets to the highest standards while following all health and safety procedures.
- During busy periods, you will support the wider operation by taking on Warehouse Operative duties as required.
Package
- Salary & Hours
- £13.70 per hour (plus night shift premium if applicable - 19% night shift allowance paid between 10pm - 6am).
- Average 38.61 hours per week.
- 3 on 3 off - 12 hour shifts.
- Shifts available:
- 7am to 7pm
- 7pm to 7am

Job Overview (cont.)
- Machine Operation: Safely operate FLT Reach Trucks and other Material Handling Equipment (MHE), following all health and safety procedures and conducting pre-use equipment checks.
- Communication: Use the Radio Data Terminal (RDT) to receive instructions and log completed jobs on the AS400 system.
- Stock Movement: Move, organise, and restack pallets of stock in designated warehouse locations, ensuring correct stacking and removal of excess packaging.
- Stock Management: Store and rotate stock according to operating procedures, report damaged or missing items, and assist with inventory control as needed.
- Hygiene Standards: Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment, ensuring tools and equipment are in good condition and reporting any defects or hazards.
- Reporting: Report all incidents, injuries, or safety concerns to the Leadership Team, adhering to all safety guidelines and instructions.
- Teamwork: Provide operational support across all warehouse functions, adapting to various tasks in a busy environment with operational machinery.
Minimum Criteria To Apply
- Experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment.
- Reach Forklift Qualification
- Strong communication skills with the ability to organise, prioritise, and manage workloads effectively.
- Proactive problem-solving and teamwork, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
