Overview

An established and internationally connected engineering business is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse and Inventory Operative to join their team. This is a key role within a dynamic and collaborative environment, ideal for someone with a strong background in inventory control and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods using a modern ERP system (training provided).
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure inventory records are consistently up to date.
  • Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure timely order fulfilment.
  • Oversee and support the assembly and testing of mechanical components (basic mechanical knowledge required).
  • Ensure the warehouse and shop floor are kept clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a warehouse or inventory control role.
  • Proficient in using stock control systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Valid forklift licence is essential.
