Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Safely operating clamp trucks to pick goods.
  • Completing daily MHE safety checks.
  • Carrying out warehouse tasks including picking, receiving, and loading/unloading.
  • Using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage inventory.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Performing other duties as required to support the team.

We are currently seeking Warehouse Operatives to join the team working on our Haier contract. This is a great opportunity for internal candidates looking to develop their skills and grow within a busy and high-performing operation.

This is a full-time, permanent position working fixed shifts of either 06:00–14:00 or 14:00–22:00

What you’ll do on a typical day
  • Safely operating clamp trucks to pick goods
  • Completing daily MHE safety checks (where applicable)
  • Carrying out a range of warehouse tasks including picking, goods receipt, checking, loading/unloading, hygiene duties, MHE operations, and handling returns and damages
  • Using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage inventory and tasks
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
  • Performing other duties as required to support the team and operation
What you need to succeed at GXO
  • A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (preferred)
  • Counterbalance or MHE experience (desirable)
  • Strong communication skills , both written and verbal
  • Basic computer skills and confidence using handheld scanners
  • A flexible approach and willingness to carry out a variety of warehouse tasks
  • Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to maintaining a strong attendance record
