Job summary

A reputable staffing agency in Mansfield is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative position at a well-established gift packaging company. The role involves handling bulky orders, operating machinery, and updating delivery systems. Candidates should have experience in a warehouse environment, be reliable, and possess strong attention to detail. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with a pay rate of £12.21 per hour. This is a temp-to-perm role for the right candidate.

• Confirm dispatch in the customer system.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Handling ticket orders containing up to 20 large, bulky items.
• Transport items to the banding table/machine and verify accuracy against the tick sheet.
• Operate the automatic banding system for oversized orders.
• Enter order numbers into Sage, print order stickers, and apply them to packages.
• Update the FedEx system to notify that orders are ready for delivery.
• Confirm dispatch in the customer system before sending packages to the pallet wrapping department.

Working Hours & Pay Rate

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm
• Pay rate: £12.21 per hour
• Previous experience in a warehouse or packing environment is preferred, especially in roles requiring attention to detail and manual handling.
