Forklift Driver / Stores Person

📍 Chippenham
💷 £13.53 per hour + Overtime
📄 Contract | 37 hours per week

Shift Pattern:

• Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 15:30
• Friday: 07:00 - 14:30

We are recruiting a Forklift Driver / Stores Person on behalf of our client, a well‑established manufacturing business based in Chippenham. You will be working within a busy stores environment, supporting goods in/out operations and stock control.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating counterbalance forklift and reach truck
• Booking in and signing for deliveries
• Putting stock away into correct locations
• Picking, packing and assembling kits
• Stock checking and inventory control
• Using computer systems for data entry (SAP experience advantageous)
• Occasionally driving goods between company sites
• Working in line with Health & Safety procedures

Requirements:

• Valid counterbalance forklift and reach truck licence
• Full driving licence
• Previous warehouse or stores experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Confident computer user with strong attention to detail
• Ability to recognise mechanical, electrical or electronic components is advantageous
