Qualifications

  • Experience in a warehouse setting is essential.
  • Must have picking and packing experience.
  • Basic computer skills, particularly in Excel, are necessary.

Warehouse Operative (Despatch Team)

Permanent – 7:30am‑4pm Monday–Thursday and 7am‑1pm Friday

Salary: £25,500 per annum plus benefits

Location: Camberley

A leading manufacturer are seeking a Dispatch Team Member. The Warehouse Worker will join a warm and friendly team where training and development opportunities are available. The purpose of this vacancy is to process packing orders efficiently and document processed shipments.

Ideal candidate background
  • Experience of working within a warehouse environment
  • Picking and packing experience
  • Computer literate to a basic level of excel
  • Quality focused with good attention to detail and excellent accuracy.
  • Organised and efficient.
  • Willingness to obtain a forklift licence
Key responsibilities include
  • Picking and packing of goods for dispatch, ensuring all packages are of sufficient quality to arrive safely at their destination
  • Pallet wrapping when required
  • Provision of accurate weights and dimensions for despatch
  • Loading collections, including use of fork-lift (once license is obtained), and ensuring all collections are correctly labelled, given to the drivers, and all paperwork signed for
  • Stock location of finished parts from production to shelf and stock rotation
  • Assist with the yearly stock take when required
  • Stock re‑location to shelf
  • Control of traceability system
  • Despatch desk and liaising with office if required.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts.
