Job description

Proactive Global is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join one of our customers based in Windsor.

Pay rate: 13-13.50 per hour

Contract: Temp to Perm

About the Role

As part of the Materials Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Receiving components and goods into the business and accurately locating products using the computer stock management system.
  • Delivering materials to the assembly lines in a timely manner.
  • Picking, kitting, and packing sets for dispatch
  • Maintaining accurate records using computer systems.
  • Supporting warehouse safety and efficiency by following 5S principles, logistics best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Managing receipt of goods and product location within the stock system.
  • Ensuring the timely supply of materials to production lines, liaising with purchasing and quality teams to flag potential shortages.
  • Maintaining stock accuracy through stock management system
  • Kitting and packing
  • Picking, packing, and labeling shipments correctly for dispatch, using stock management systems to complete transactions and locate stock
About You
  • Highly customer-focused, understanding that this role often creates the first impression of a Keeler product for customers.
  • Experience in logistics, picking, and packing.
  • Computer literate with a good understanding of material transactions.
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Organized, accurate, and detail-oriented.
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Self-motivated and able to work well both independently and as part of a team, supporting various business units.
  • Forklift licence is desirable but not essential
