Job description

Adecco are delighted to be supporting our client in recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join their busy team!

Key Duties
  • Lead, support, and develop the warehouse team across varying shifts, ensuring performance standards, efficiency, and appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
  • Take responsibility for all warehouse activities, including:
    • Managing timely and accurate receipt of goods.
    • Ensuring production lines are supplied with the right materials when needed.
    • Coordinating accurate and timely shipment of finished products to customers in line with instructions and specifications.
  • Implement and maintain effective stock control measures to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Track and review warehouse KPIs to achieve productivity, safety, and quality goals.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Identify and deliver process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Work collaboratively with production, procurement, quality, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure ERP records and warehouse documentation are accurate and up to date.
  • Support enhancements to systems and processes related to warehouse and ERP functions.
About You
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in warehouse or logistics management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations including receiving, material flow, and dispatch.
  • Proven experience leading and motivating teams in a fast-moving environment.
  • Confident user of ERP systems; prior experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible and able to work across shifts to meet operational demands.
  • Knowledge of lean or continuous improvement methods would be advantageous.
