Warehouse Manager

Fusion Fire is an Australian company that manufactures and distributes fire alarm products internationally. We are committed to providing top-quality products and exceptional service to our customers.

We are opening a small distribution centre in Melton Mowbray and are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse Manager to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in this start-up operation in the UK, ensuring our warehouse operations run efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and safety.
• Manage a small team of warehouse staff, including training, development.
• Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.
• Develop and implement warehouse processes and systems that improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and resolve any discrepancies.
• Maintain and improve warehouse layout, ensuring optimal space utilization and operational flow.
• Monitor and manage warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery.
• Collaborate with other departments and head office in Australia.

What you need

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to use warehouse management software and other relevant tools.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse procedures, health and safety regulations, and inventory management.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised.
• Must have forklift certification.
• Be self-motivated as the management team will be overseas.
