Job description

We are seeking a proactive candidate to join the Warehouse Line Leader role in Wisbech, PE13 2RN.

Pay rates and typical working hours

• Sun-Wed / Tue rotation 4 days in, 3 days off, then 3 days in, 4 days off
• Training: £13.60 per hour
• Post-training: £14.60 per hour

Duties as a Warehouse Line Leader

• Manage, motivate, and train Warehouse Operatives to ensure tasks are understood and completed efficiently in line with Company policies
• Ensure all customer orders are picked and loaded accurately according to requirements
• Conduct and document all relevant checks in compliance with Company and legislative standards
• Communicate effectively with internal departments (Production, Planning, QA) and external partners (third-party hauliers) to resolve issues promptly
• Ensure all areas of responsibility comply with business, legal, and customer requirements, addressing any breaches immediately
• Ensure pickers and FLT drivers adhere to Company procedures at all times

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workloads in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
