Overview

Are you looking to make a difference while working in a dynamic and fulfilling role? Are you passionate about customer-service and sustainability?

This is a part-time role working 21 hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Our Warehouse Assistants work collaboratively with the store team and volunteers to ensure the efficient running of the store and the warehouse.
  • Handle and move deliveries of furniture and appliances coming into the store from vans.
  • Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality standards.
  • Work with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure the shop floor is well stocked and in accordance with safety regulations, promoting safety and wellbeing.
  • Operate with autonomy and continually build knowledge of the BHF.
About you

You may have experience of working in the retail or service sector and will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be proactive, driven and customer focused, with the ability to work collaboratively with others and guide the activity of volunteer team members. This can be a physically demanding role and you need to be comfortable working with furniture and electrical goods.
