Job summary

A leading energy services company in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled operations support professional. The ideal candidate will manage the reception, tracking, and inventory of operational supplies, ensuring all equipment and personnel are adequately prepared. Certifications in GWO safety standards are required, along with experience in stock control. This role requires the ability to travel to Germany as needed, and familiarity with SCADA systems is preferable.

Qualifications

  • GWO certifications including Advanced First Aid, Sea Survival, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness are required.
  • Experience in using SCADA or turbine control systems is preferred.
  • Familiarity with stock control processes is important.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain operational procedures for parts and tools management.
  • Ensure 100% allocation of all parts and consumables to site.
  • Deliver toolbox talks to technical teams as required.

Job description

Working with the SOV Operations Coordinator, Stores Manager and the Senior Technician to maintain a suite of operational procedures and processes to ensure all parts, consumables, tools and PPE are received, shipped and tracked efficiently. This includes inventory, tool, certification and calibration, PPE and waste management. Delivery of toolbox talks prepared by either the SOV Operations Coordinator or the Senior Technician ensures that the teams accessing the WTG’s have all the information, documentation, tooling and parts to enable them to complete their allotted tasks.

DELIVERABLES
  • Service kits are presented at the WTG for the technicians to quality, time.
  • On vessel stores are maintained appropriate for the scheduled work and in a manner that supports time and safe efficient mobilisation of the technical team.
  • Waste and product return 100% accounted for.
  • All parts, tools and consumables 100% allocated to the WTG and site in CMMS.
  • Toolbox talks and pre‑work briefs are delivered to a standard that avoids ambiguity.
  • Authorised Operational Controller.
CERTIFICATIONS
  • GWO – Advanced First Aid, Sea Survival, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness
  • Slinger/Signaller
  • IOSH Managing Safely.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
  • SAP materials management user
  • Experience in stock control
  • Ability to travel and work in Germany – no visa required as working outside 12NW territorial limits.
  • Ideally experience of using SCADA / Turbine control systems
