A healthcare organization in the UK is looking for a ward administration clerk to provide vital clerical and administrative support to the Theatre Admission Unit. You will be the first point of contact for patients and responsible for maintaining records, booking appointments, and ensuring proper documentation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this role. This position also promotes a flexible working environment to meet the needs of both the organization and its employees.
The post holder will be required to provide high quality clerical and administrative support as a member of the Theatre Admission Unit. You will act as first point of contact for all patients and service users putting patients at the heart of everything we do.
The role of the ward administration clerk is to assist in relieving the Nursing staff of as many non-midwifery/non-nursing duties as possible under the direct supervision of the Ward manager and Matron reporting to the Team Leader.
The post holder will be required to have good interpersonal skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, polite and courteous manner along with a professional attitude.
