Job description

The employee wellness industry is mostly theatre.

Yoga Fridays. Meditation apps. Mental health "awareness" weeks.

Meanwhile, burnout costs the UK economy £28 billion annually. Healthcare workers are leaving in droves. Call centre turnover runs at 30-45%.

Everyone's measuring the damage after it happens.

We're building something different.

Do Me A Favour Buddy uses AI and behavioural science to predict burnout 2-4 weeks before it occurs-giving managers the evidence and tools to actually intervene. We're backed by academia, and launching pilots in early 2025.

But we're still founder-funded. Bootstrapped. The classic underdog.

To change that, we need a grant writing partner.

Someone who knows the UK / EU funding landscape. Who can help us navigate Innovate UK, Wellcome Trust, and social innovation foundations. Who wants to put their expertise behind something that actually prevents mental health crises instead of profiting from them.

The role (volunteer, 10-12 weeks) :
  • Map funding opportunities and prioritize the realistic ones
  • Advise on our positioning for UK funders
  • Collaborate on 1-2 major proposals with our team
What's in it for you :
  • Success fee (5-10%) or equity discussion (or make us an offer)
  • Path to paid Fundraising Lead role
  • Work directly with our Founder and Chief Behavioural Scientist
  • A mission worth your evenings
You should have :
  • 3+ years grant writing experience
  • Proven track record (tell me about your wins)
  • Knowledge of mental health / HealthTech / social impact funding

This isn't corporate CSR window dressing. We're trying to catch people before they fall.
