Our care home, Gloucester House, is now seeking an Activities Assistant on a voluntary basis to support in providing a varied and appropriate programme of activity for our residents. We would encourage Events Assistants, Fundraising Assistants, Communications Assistants, or Care Assistants looking to move into an activity role to apply.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As one of our Activities Assistants, you will:

  1. Explore ways and resources for creative and enjoyable activities for our residents, including group events or individual sessions.
  2. Advertise and promote the planned programme to encourage the involvement of residents, relatives, and staff.
  3. Participate in fundraising events and planning themed event nights.

TO APPLY, YOU WILL NEED TO:

  1. Have strong communication and organisational skills.
  2. Have previous experience in organising activities.
