IKEA Milton Keynes are looking to welcome a Visual Merchandiser to their team.

A Visual Merchandiser at IKEA designs and maintains attractive product displays, implements store layout plans, collaborates on merchandising strategies, and stays updated on home furnishing trends.

WHAT WE OFFER
  • Start date: Friday 27th of February
  • Starting salary of £28,982 based on competence and experience.
  • 39 Hours 5 days per week Monday to Friday this includes working every 5th weekend. Shifts between 6.30am - 3.00pm.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
  • You have a degree/experience in a relevant creative field.
  • A working knowledge in design software such as Autocad, REVIT, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, is preferred.
  • You are excited about home furnishings, design and how people live, and have the ability to use generate new ideas to inspire our customers.
  • You have a hands‑on approach, feeling at ease working with various hand tools and comfortable working at heights.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
  • Use visual merchandising competence to strengthen the uniqueness of the IKEA identity in range presentation solutions in the store by working with store layout, range presentation and vitality.
  • Understanding the local market to plan and implement relevant, inspiring, affordable and commercial range presentation solutions that reflect a wide variety of styles, price levels, meet the many individual tastes and exceed our visitor's expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Communication & Interior Design team and other functions, act quickly to exploit commercial opportunities and understand the impact of actions on the financial results.
  • Working with the commercial calendar to implement range changes.
