In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance health-related design solutions, ensuring they are informed by user feedback. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, proficiency in design systems, and experience in UI design. At Google, we follow a simple but vital premise: "Focus on the user and all else will follow." We believe that all of our products should be beautiful and accessible.
Google User Experience (UX) is made up of multi-disciplinary teams of UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers: we care deeply about the people who use our products. We collaborate closely with each other and with engineering and product management to create industry-leading products that deliver value for the people who use them, and for Google’s businesses.
As a Visual Designer, you’ll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences—from concept to execution. Like all of our UX jobs, you’ll collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.
As a Visual Designer, you’ll partner closely with your design lead to execute, fine‑tune, and bring the creative goal to life from artistic graphic production to detailed product interfaces and components. This includes executing on design tests that define AI patterns across our users’ health journey, evolving design systems to support new capabilities, and working collaboratively across our global cross‑functional teams to build a unified goal.
The Health Platforms and Devices team builds innovative products and services that help our users live longer, healthier lives. We bring together the best of Google technologies and AI, health behavior science, and user‑centered design to help users organize the health and wellness data, get insight from it, and take action toward their health goals. We do this with a suite of apps, services, and health wearables. We aim to make consumer health more personal, proactive, and actionable.
