Overview

We are seeking experienced viola teachers to join the Sutton Music Trust Music Academy. There are approximately 3.5 hours of teaching available on Saturday mornings. There may also be opportunities to teach in one-on-one and small group settings in schools. The ability to also teach violin is preferable. Start date: November 2025. Closing date for applications: 30 September 2025.

• Teach viola to students as part of the Music Academy offering (~3.5 hours per week on Saturday mornings).
• May teach in one-to-one and small group settings in schools.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment that inspires children and young people to sing and play with energy and enthusiasm.

Qualifications / Experience

• Have a passion and belief in the power of music education.
• Show willingness to upskill and take part in CPD opportunities.
• Be able to engage and inspire young people through their musical journey.
• Experience working with whole-class groups of children and young people is desirable.
