Overview

Video & Creative Manager

Role: Permanent - Hybrid (2 days per week office based and 3 days remote)

Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday

Salary: Up to £48,000 + benefits package

We're CIM - the Chartered Institute of Marketing - and we're on the hunt for a Video & Creative Manager who's equal parts visionary, hands-on creator, and AI-savvy innovator. If you live and breathe video, know your way around a camera rig and a generative AI platform, and can turn a brief into a compelling visual story that makes people stop scrolling - we want to meet you.

What you'll be doing day-to-day:

Responsibilities
  • Planning, storyboarding, and directing everything from expert interviews to slick video ads
  • Shooting high-quality footage with pro-level gear
  • Editing like a boss - sound design, colour grading, motion graphics, captions, the works
  • Using AI tools (think Descript, Synthesia, Runway, HeyGen, etc.) to scale and innovate
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to make sure every frame hits the mark
  • Keeping our video library organised and our brand visuals consistent
  • Staying ahead of trends and tech to keep our content fresh and future-proof

Qualifications
  • A killer portfolio of video work across formats
  • Deep experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.)
  • Hands-on knowledge of AI video tools and platforms
  • A sharp eye for lighting, sound, and composition
  • Strong project management and timekeeping skills
  • Leadership skills - you'll be managing a talented Designer and helping them thrive
  • A calm, organised approach (even when deadlines loom)
  • A passion for marketing, education, and making content that actually connects
