Waverley Education Foundation (WEF) is a Multi Academy Trust, which operates both Waverley School and Waverley Studio College. WEF has approximately 2000 pupils on roll across the trust and delivers a range of services that support learning, leadership, management and improve outcomes for children and young people.
Waverley School is an all-through school for pupils aged 4-19 and includes a Primary and Secondary Resource Base for pupils with cognition and learning difficulties. Waverley Studio College is a specialist academy catering for 14–19 year old students which offers both academic and vocational qualifications. Both schools were graded ‘Good’ in their recent Section 5 Ofsted Inspections (September 2021 and September 2022 respectively).
The Studio College has approximately 270 students including those in the Sixth Form and boasts state‑of‑the‑art facilities for learning, teaching and training supported by a strong staff team committed to student development.

Following a review of the Trust’s priorities, the Board of Trustees are seeking to appoint an inspirational and dynamic Vice Principal who will be based at Waverley School and undertake Behaviour and Culture responsibilities matched to the successful candidate’s skills.
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an outstanding track record, be highly motivated and passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people, and have the ability to inspire and motivate staff and students. They will be required to meet the person specification and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
