Role

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Manager, Trustee & Depositary to join our Fund Oversight, Trustee & Depositary team. This role is located in Edinburgh and is 4 days Hybrid.


Responsibilities


  • Management of Operational Team within Trustee & Depositary – Responsible for the achievement of team objectives.

  • Assist Head of Fund Oversight UK with all internal and external audits inspections

  • Represents the business at Client Diligence and Service Reviews

  • Leads on Projects with the business as required.

  • Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues and team

  • Drive forward operational efficiencies and streamline Unit Trust/OEIC administrative processes to increase cost savings and to increase quality and quantity of output. Tasks include data input, banking, account

  • Ensure appropriate systems, processes, controls, and knowledge is fully embedded in the business function to comply with all UK CASS regulations


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

  • Work experience within the investment funds industry.

  • Team management experience.

  • Compliance experience would be advantageous.

  • Understanding of fund accounting, fund structures and different assets.

  • Candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail, good interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to multi-task, in a deadline driven environment. Candidate should be flexible, willing to challenge the status quo, and able to adapt to a changing environment.
