Position Summary

The Vice President of Supply Chain Management & Logistics for the EU will lead the product distribution strategy across all European operations. This senior leader will be responsible for optimizing procurement, packaging and labeling planning, inventory management, transportation, and distribution networks of product while ensuring compliance with EU regulations, sustainability targets, and cost‑effectiveness. The role requires a visionary approach to risk mitigation, and partnership development to support the company’s growth objectives in a complex, multi‑country market.

Essential Functions
  • Responsible for facilitating the company’s EU & UK Anktiva commercial launches and subsequent support of strategic expansion plans in the EU
  • Act as a first line resource to manage the interface between Supply Chain Management and the EU Commercial Business
  • Assist in the management of supply of investigational medicinal product (IMP) to EU clinical trials
  • Define and execute a 3‑5 year EU supply chain roadmap aligned with corporate goals
  • Assist in the creation and communication of country specific forecasts to support production schedules
  • Participate in the Integrated Business Planning process
  • Coordinate with the EU Business on procurement, production scheduling, inventory control, and distribution across all EU sites by focusing on all downstream activities post-delivery of product to distribution hub / partner
  • Work with General Manages / Country Manager to map and develop the customer operations requirements and then implement as required
  • Ensure optimal network design (warehouses, cross‑docking, last‑mile delivery) to meet service‑level agreements (SLAs)
  • Collaborate with Commercial Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align supply chain capabilities with commercial market demand
  • Collaborate with corporate departments such as Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Operations to ensure uninterrupted product supply and GxP compliance
  • Own the EU supply chain P&L, delivering cost reductions, margin improvement, and ROI on capital projects
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field required
  • MBA or relevant master’s degree strongly preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a VP or senior director role overseeing a multi‑country European footprint
  • Proven track record of delivering cost savings ≥10% and improving service levels in a complex, regulated environment
  • Hands‑on experience with large‑scale ERP / TMS / WMS deployments and digital transformation initiatives
  • Deep understanding of EU trade regulations, customs procedures, and sustainability standards
  • In‑depth knowledge of GDP / GMP and EU pharmaceutical regulations.
  • Understanding of GDP / GMP and an ability to interpret and enforce regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross‑functional, multi‑cultural, matrixed teams
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment where results are achieved through influence and the incorporation of multiple points of view
  • Proficiency in data‑driven decision‑making (advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
