We have an excellent opportunity for a Head Vet Surgeon to join a lovely team at a fantastic small animal veterinary practice in the Crewe area of Cheshire.

Key details:

• Full time position including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings on rota; no Sundays, no out‑of‑hours work.
• Practice is established and well equipped with state‑of‑the‑art equipment: digital X‑ray, ultrasound, BP measurement, in‑house laboratory.
• Position suited to an experienced vet competent in medicine and surgical procedures.
• Key responsibilities include maintaining clinical standards and mentoring junior vets on a day‑to‑day basis.
• Team: 3 vets – 2 experienced, 1 with interest in exotics.
• Generous CPD allowance and funding towards certificates.
• Location: Cheshire, countryside, close to M6, an hour from Manchester City Centre.

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent.
• Registered with the RCVS.
• Experience as Head Vet or Senior/experienced Vet looking to step up.
