A veterinary practice in Morecambe is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their supportive team. The role comes with a fantastic salary up to £60,000 and no out-of-hours responsibilities. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a strong appetite for surgery. The practice offers modern facilities and comprehensive support for professional development, including CPD and surgical training opportunities. Our well-established practice in Lancaster is on the lookout for a Veterinary Surgeon to provide additional clinical support for our clients and their pets.
Our equipment includes Laparoscopy, Ultrasound, Digital X-Ray, Dental X-Ray, Advanced Practitioner dermatology services and Orthopaedic capabilities. We perform the majority of first opinion Orthopaedic surgeries on-site and refer the complex cases to Kentdale, North-West Surgeons and University of Liverpool.
You will need to be a proactive veterinary surgeon with exceptional communication skills. The ideal candidate will have an appetite for surgery as well as being able to provide consultation services for our clients and their pets. *Our practice has recently diversified its service offering by employing one of only 37 UK advanced practitioners in small animal dermatology. Our senior veterinary surgeon supports our orthopaedic caseload. Other areas of interest supported by our internal team include a surgical certificate holder, Oncology and peripatetic diagnostic imaging provided by VPS.
