A leading veterinary care provider is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team in Morden. This full-time role involves delivering exceptional clinical care and mentoring staff. The ideal candidate will be RCVS registered with proven experience in providing exceptional care to both pets and clients. Veterinary Surgeon • Morden, England, UK

Medivet Morden has been caring for the community’s pets for over 25 years and is currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join its welcoming team.

Our friendly and dedicated team consists of 1 Lead Vet, 1 RVN, 1 SVN, 1 VCA and 1 CCA.

Our practice features a spacious waiting area with dedicated sections for cats and dogs, 3 consult rooms, theatre, X‑ray machine, dental X‑ray, Imotek X5 ultrasound and an in‑house lab.

The role is working 4 days per week (shifts 9am‑7pm) plus 1 in 6 full weekend at Medivet 24‑hour Sutton.

We are offering a £3000 signing bonus for the successful candidate.

Role Accountabilities
  • Deliver exceptional clinical care to patients during consultations and procedures.
  • Provide exceptional client care with clear updates on patients.
  • Observe the highest standards of regulatory practice and operational compliance.
  • Prepare tailored, accurate treatment and care plans with clear cost estimates.
  • Mentor and develop the team, enhancing skills and utilising them effectively.
  • Complete clinical handover and arrange transfer of any patient needing out‑of‑hours or enhanced care.
  • Pro‑actively support and share clinical best practice within and across practices and the wider Medivet community.
Your Skills and Experience
  • RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon.
  • Experienced in delivering exceptional care to both patients and clients.
  • Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.
  • Able to demonstrate clinical leadership skills.
  • Experience of implementing a progressive clinical culture.
  • Experience of supporting nurse consults and scheduling 3 procedures with an understanding of how this contributes to clinic performance and efficiency.
  • Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
