A local veterinary practice in Halifax is seeking an experienced veterinary surgeon to join their supportive team. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £70,000, no out-of-hours work, and a flexible rota. Candidates should be confident in routine surgeries and consultations, and willing to work collaboratively to enhance the practice’s services. This position allows for continual professional development with support from a skilled team.
Are you looking to join a supportive practice that offers a diverse range of treatments including hip replacements?
Halifax vets for pets is a long-established standalone practice that is owned and run locally by Sally. It has become a staple of the local community and offers its loyal clients and their furry friends the best care possible.
Sally is an experienced RVN who has worked tirelessly to develop a strong and supportive practice. The practice has a great reputation and receives lots of referrals due to having a peripatetic veterinary surgeon who offers advanced orthopaedic surgeries including hip replacements.
You will be supported by a very experienced team with you working alongside 1 other vet who has worked in the Halifax practice for around 18 years and has 30 years qualified experience. Along with the vet team you will work with 4 RVNs, 2 VCAs and 3 SVNs. They offer lots of support allowing you to concentrate on providing the best care possible.
This role will be perfect for a veterinary surgeon who is a good all-rounder, who is confident in all routine aspects of a GP role but is looking for that next step in their career and are happy to work with Sally to push the practice forward to new heights!
We’re always open to new ideas that will drive us forward, so we’re looking for a vet who will bring positive enthusiasm to help push our growth. With the support and guidance of an experienced team, your voice is always heard.
