Job description
Overview

The role of NWAS Vehicle Technician is to ensure all Trust vehicles (Petrol / Diesel / Hybrid and EV) are serviced, repaired and maintained to the Trust and DVSA's exacting standards. The post incorporates the skilled service and repair of specialist ambulance equipment. The Trust reserves the right to close this vacancy early if a large number of applications are received. Working Conditions

Working in a modern workshop environment, vehicle technicians benefit from significant levels of training, job satisfaction and an opportunity to progress current skill sets and CPD while being supported by a dedicated management team structure. Staff make 37.5 hours per week average.

Operational requirements for the workshops cover 365 days per year via a rotating shift pattern which attracts an additional salary uplift of approximately 12.5% on top of the basic salary banding.

Basic salary: £31,049 to £37,796 per annum (AFC Band 5).

With over 1,185 vehicles across the entire NWAS Fleet, each day offers variety.
