A leading automotive repair specialist in Tewkesbury is seeking an experienced Automotive Vehicle Technician/Vehicle Mechanic. This position offers a competitive salary of up to £40,000, benefits such as a performance bonus, generous leave, and future training opportunities. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 qualification, possess diagnostic skills, and have a valid UK Driving License. Working hours are Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts.

Qualifications

  • Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
  • 1 to 2 years of practical experience as a Vehicle Technician.
  • Current and Valid UK Driving License.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles.
  • MOT Testing.
  • Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
  • Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards.
  • Occasionally responding to vehicle breakdowns.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician/Vehicle Mechanic within growing independent fleet repair specialist in the Gloucester region.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Duties:

Requirements:
  • You will need to be qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
  • Ideally hold 1 to 2 years of practical experience as a Vehicle Technician.
  • A Current and Valid UK Driving License.
  • Dedicated and committed approach.
  • Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
  • The salary of this role is up to £40,000 basic salary.
