Job summary

An independent garage in Hoddesdon is seeking an Automotive Vehicle Technician. The successful candidate will conduct servicing and repairs on a variety of vehicles, work in a supportive team, and adhere to health & safety guidelines. A competitive salary of up to £46,000 plus overtime is on offer. Candidates must have an NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent, own tools, and a full UK driving licence. An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within an Independent Garage, located in Hoddesdon.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Benefits
  • Competitive basic salary up to £46,000 per annum
  • Overtime paid at x1.25 the standard rate for optional weekend work
  • Salary up to £46,000 basic with OTE of £46,000
Responsibilities
  • Work in a well-supported team of technicians
  • Conduct servicing and repairs on a variety of vehicles
  • Adhere to manufacturer and health & safety guidelines
  • Perform diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults
  • MOT testing
  • Document servicing and repair information to meet company policies
  • Hours: Monday to Friday only, with optional weekends paid at overtime rate
Requirements
  • Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 qualification, or equivalent
  • Dedicated and committed approach
  • Prior working experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • Have your own tools
  • Full UK driving licence
