Job summary

A vehicle repair shop in Sutton is looking for a qualified Automotive Vehicle Technician to join their team. You will be responsible for servicing and repairing various vehicles, conducting MOT tests, and performing diagnostic testing. The ideal candidate is NVQ Level 3 qualified, has a valid driving license, and is passionate about their work. Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a vehicle repair shop located in Sutton.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Benefits
  • £38,500 basic salary – fixed to maintain team parity
  • Company-wide profit share bonus – typically adds ~£2,000 p.a. in good years
  • 40-hour work week – no weekends
  • 21 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Business closes over Christmas & New Year (some days taken from holiday, others fully paid!)
  • Opportunity to earn up to £550 in referral commission for non-fault accident claims via their successful in-house scheme

Duties
  • Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
  • MOT Testing
  • Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults
  • Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards
Requirements
  • A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence

Hours

Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (1-hour lunch break).
