Vehicle Mechanic – Cars & Light Commercials

Location : Adlington

Salary : £18.50 per hour + Time and a Half for Overtime

Are you a skilled Vehicle Mechanic looking for your next opportunity? We are recruiting for an experienced, qualified mechanic to join a busy and professional workshop in Adlington, working on cars and light commercial vehicles.

What You’ll Be Doing :
  • Carrying out servicing and repairs to the highest standards, including brakes, clutches, gearboxes, engines, and electrics.
  • Diagnosing faults using the latest diagnostic tools and manufacturer equipment.
  • Performing MOT inspections, roller brake testing, and general vehicle fault repair.
  • Occasionally working on HGVs and small plant machinery.
  • Maintaining your work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and safe condition.
  • Delivering excellent customer service and representing a professional image at all times.
What We’re Looking For :
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent, or time-served with extensive experience.
  • Excellent diagnostic skills and confident use of laptop-based diagnostic tools.
  • Own tools and a flexible, “can-do” attitude.
