Based at our Fen End, Warwickshire site our International Upgrade team are responsible for upgrading all saleable JLR Pre-Production vehicles to our external customers in a saleable condition. We are looking to compliment the team with a qualified and experienced Vehicle Technician to support our re-works/rectifications and support the investigations of vehicle issues.

What to Expect
  • You’ll be carrying out manufacturer approved electrical, mechanical, body/trim reworks, and updating the software on them
  • You’ll undertake workshop investigations into complex vehicle issues and play a pivotal role to ensure the timely completion of all agreed rectification work
  • You’ll also be actively involved to ensure that the workshop meets the H+S and environmental standards
  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the team
  • Keep data and maintainence records accurate and updated
What You’ll Need
  • Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Automotive/other Engineering disciplines
  • Technical knowledge of vehicle assembly, along with vehicle servicing capability
  • Knowledge of PHEV/MHEV/BEV systems
  • A time served recognised indentured/certificated Advanced Apprenticeship or Armed Forces equivalent (I.e. Advanced Modern Apprenticeship, Craft Apprenticeship, IMI certificated Advanced Apprenticeship)
  • Must recognise safe working practices, including Health & Safety and environmental regulations
  • You will need to have a full UK drivers licence with no more than 6 points
