A well-established car main dealership in Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking a motivated Automotive Vehicle Technician/Vehicle Mechanic. The role offers a basic salary of up to £33,000 and OTE up to £45,000. Responsibilities include servicing and repairing vehicles, conducting MOT testing, and performing diagnostic tests. Overview

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician/Vehicle Mechanic within a Well-Established Car Main Dealership located in Taunton.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
• MOT Testing
• Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards
• Carrying out repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, exhaust systems, etc.

Requirements

• Minimum of Level 2 qualification is essential (NVQ or equivalent)
• MOT licence is preferred but not essential
• Have a good attitude towards work
• Computer literate
• Full UK driving licence
• Maintaining the workshop to a high standard

The salary of this role is up to £33,000 basic with OTE of £45,000.

Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are Monday to Friday, 8am - 5.00pm, 1 Saturday Per Month 8am - 1pm.
