Job summary

A public sector recruitment agency is seeking Vehicle Passenger Assistants to provide support for passengers in Leicestershire on a flexible, temporary basis. Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS required (reimbursed after 6 weeks).
• Ability to assist vulnerable service users and work across multiple locations within Leicestershire.

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers on/off the vehicle and safely secure them, including wheelchair users.
• Support with fitting/removing specialist seating as needed.
• Ensure passenger safety, comfort, and personal belongings are protected.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with passengers and staff.
• Report incidents or issues promptly and accurately.
• Support depot staff with loading/unloading goods when required.

Overview

Our public sector client are looking for Vehicle Passenger Assistants to join them on a long-term, on-going temporary basis.

Location: Melton Mowbray, Nailstone, Blaby, Sapcotte, Croft and Blaby

Hours: 4hrs AM & 4hrs PM (ADHOC, flexible schedule)

Pay: £12.27 per hour

DBS: Enhanced DBS required (reimbursed after 6 weeks)
