Responsibilities

Salary

£27,040 (£13 per hour), plus overtime paid at £15 per hour

Hours of work

Monday to Friday (40 hours) plus alternate Saturdays for overtime

Please note to be considered for this role you must possess a full manual driving licence (with 3 points or fewer), and you also must be over 30 years of age for company car insurance purposes.

As a driver, you will be meeting customers at homes and businesses. Your role is to deliver and collect vehicles to customer specified requirements and inform customers of all relevant information regarding vehicle handover - and termination, checking license and updating vehicle details as required. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, planning safe travel routes, and ensuring timely deliveries. Identify any fleet maintenance, and damage issues, and offer a quality service to customers.

Main Duties
  • Checking and maintenance of vehicles including inspecting for damage and reporting any issues when required
  • Complete deliveries and collections of vehicles over specified locations as per the delivery instructions provided by the office team
  • Ensure the safety of yourself, pedestrians, and other road users while navigating delivery routes
  • Obtaining customer’s signatures upon completion of each delivery and collection to confirm receipt of the vehicle
  • Regularly communicating with the office team to provide delivery and collection updates and receive remote instructions for new tasks
  • Any other ad hoc requirements of the role
