An exciting new position within the Vascular team to support patients through their venous surgical pathway. The post holder will have daily responsibility for the clinical care that venous patients receive and will support patients at all stages of their care, including helping develop nurse-led appointments.
There is an existing team of clinical academic nurse specialists with whom the appointed individual will work closely. With training, cross-cover for other nurse-led services could be developed. There is significant future potential for increasingly independent practice within the department. The organization supports opportunities and resources to pursue formal postgraduate qualification in advanced areas of practice relevant to the post.
