Overview

Driver Hire South East London are recruiting for a PART TIME temp to perm delivery driver for our butcher client based within SE24 postcode areas.

Pay

PAYE Weekly Pay at £13.69 per hour (including holiday pay)

Type of shifts

Part Time shifts are mainly during the week, day shifts, Mon, Fri, Sat. Start times 5am-2pm. Multi drop deliveries in and around M25. Delivering Meat.

All-round Duties

• Complete deliveries correctly and efficiently, in a professional and timely manner
• Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns or issues
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations

Requirements

• Valid UK Cat B licence for at least 2 years with no more than 3 points (no DR DD TT IN)
• A manual driving licence
• At least 1-year experience as a Cat B (references required)
• Must be comfortable with heavy lifting!
• You must be over the age of 21 years (insurance purposes)
• Physically fit, jobs require heavy lifting
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
• Ideally someone who will be able to travel on public transport, no free parking available but paid parking is available

Rates of pay

PAYE £13.69 per hour (including holiday pay)
