Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking Van Drivers in Oxfordshire to transport medical samples and internal mail. The position offers a pay rate of £12.21 per hour for a 37.5 hours work week, Monday to Friday. Candidates must hold a full UK driving licence, be 18 or over, and pass an enhanced DBS check. Job description

Rapier Employment are looking for medical delivery / van drivers to support our well-known client based around the Oxfordshire area.

Position

Van Driver

Hours

Starttime 12 : 00 - finish roughly 20 : 00

Days

Monday-Friday - 37.5 hours a week

Pay rate

£12.21 per hour

Overtime

Paid at x1.5 after 37.5 hours worked

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Transporting blood and tissue samples between sites.
• Making anywhere between 20-30 drops per day.
• Pathology delivery and collections.
• Delivering internal mail between different sites.
• Collecting samples from surgeries as well as hospitals.
• No hazardous goods or heavy lifting required.
• Full training will be provided and further opportunities for progression or movement within the company down the line.
• Induction and assessments will be paid for.
• Possibility after 13 weeks to take the vehicle home.

Requirements

• Must be 18 or over due to insurance purposes
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Full UK driving licence
• An enhanced DBS check will be required at some point
