Vacancy for Senior Archivist at University of Westminster

3 January 2023 • London • Full-Time

Responsibilities
  • Collection management and development, including supporting records management activities and the acquisition of digital records.
  • Cataloguing using the University’s archival management system AtoM.
  • Arranging appointments, answering enquiries, assisting and supervising researchers and visitors.
  • Working collaboratively with academic colleagues in the development of learning and teaching resources associated with the University’s history and archive collections.
  • Supporting and developing a range of outreach activities including presentations, tours and exhibitions (including online).
Requirements / Skills

You should have meticulous organisational ability, accuracy, and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a small team and deliver to deadlines is also important.

This role will primarily be based on-site in Central London but there will be opportunity for occasional home working.
