About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Utility Surveyor to join our growing team. You will lead buried utility and utility avoidance surveys to PAS128 standards, manage site operations across the UK, produce operational paperwork, interpret data, create CAD and written reports and support other teams where required. You will be expected to attain the position of site lead, provide safety briefings, manage your survey team, train support staff and supervise contractors where necessary.

Responsibilities

Lead site surveys of buried utilities, plan and conduct field operations, prepare reports, provide safety briefings, manage and train survey teams, supervise contractors, coordinate with other teams (geophysicists, topographical surveyors, GI, pavements teams), ensure compliance with AECOM guidance and PAS128 standards, support larger infrastructure projects across Power, Highways, Rail, Aviation and Defence.

Qualifications
  • A broad experience in undertaking Buried Utility surveys to PAS128 standards in a range of different environments
  • Topographical survey skills relevant to the surveys
  • Driving Licence
  • CSCS
  • NVQ in Utility detection
  • CAD, Excel and Word skills
  • Familiarity with GPR processing software
