Job description

Are you passionate about supporting the education and development of young learners? Do you have a keen interest in working within a primary school setting? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our dedicated team as an Unqualified Teaching Assistant at a primary school located in the Warrington area.

As an Unqualified Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the teaching staff to provide support and assistance within the classroom, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for the students and helping them thrive academically and socially.

Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Assist with the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
  • Work with small groups or individual students, providing targeted support and guidance.
  • Help maintain a safe and organized learning environment.
  • Support students with their learning and understanding of core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Science and other curriculum areas.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their self-esteem and well-being.
  • Monitor and record students' progress and behaviour, reporting any concerns to the class teacher.
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff and other teaching assistants to contribute to the overall success of the school community.
Hours & Pay

Full Time and part time roles available 8.30 – 3:00pm Mon to Fri. Hours rates starting at £13.50 per hour.
