What We're Looking For
  • You do not need to hold a formal TA qualification, however you must have:
  • Recent experience (within the last 5 years) working with children - this could be through volunteering, youth work, childcare, coaching, mentoring or school-based work.
  • A genuine passion for supporting primary-aged pupils.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
  • The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a supportive team.
Your Responsibilities May Include
  • Providing general classroom support to the teacher
  • Supporting small groups or individual pupils with learning
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
  • Helping with classroom organisation and resources
  • Assisting during playtimes, transitions, and activities
  • Creating a nurturing, inclusive environment for all children
